Whether you're a complete beginner or already have experience with soft pastels, you’re welcome to join! WHAT TO EXPECT

In this workshop, we’ll cover key concepts and techniques to help you master the fundamental techniques in soft pastels:

1. Introduction to Materials

Learn about different types of soft pastels, pastel pencils, paper choices, and essential tools to enhance your work.

2. Blending & Layering Techniques

Discover multiple blending methods to create smooth gradients, rich textures, and depth in your artwork.

3. The Process of Creating a Portrait Soft Pastel Drawing

Follow a structured step-by-step approach to complete a portrait soft pastel piece from start to finish.

4. Cross-Contour Lines Technique

A unique additional technique that adds structure and movement to your drawings.

WORKSHOP DETAILS

This workshop will include a total of 10 hours of learning, divided into 4 sessions, and will only be held on Saturdays and Sundays (2 weeks of learning). Below is the detailed schedules and information of the workshop:

• Week 1: March 22 & 23, 2025

• Week 2: March 29 & 30, 2025

• Time (for Live Sessions): 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM (EST) | Toronto, ON, Canada Time Zone

• Platform: Zoom

• Recording & Review: All the lessons will be recorded and can be reviewed within 30 days.
